About the artist
I grew up in rural Maine, and returned here 15 years ago after working and traveling in various places. The process of creating artwork is a neccessary part of my life. I work in several media, which is a reflection of my varied interests. I find myself returning to influences of nature: concepts related to the cyclical nature of life, narrative and metaphor, and beauty in matching form and functions.
